Congrats! You’re making an in-person sale! Or maybe you’re online with someone, helping them complete a sale.
Um, now what?
The merchant onboarding process is relatively simple. Once the merchant has completed the signup form and submitted payment details, their Merchant Announcements Page is automatically generated for them and they are automatically logged into their account dashboard. The merchant should receive an email in ten minutes or less that confirms their access to the Pass Manager Admin, which is also accessed through the main Dashboard tab in their admin.
Helping the new merchant complete a quick setup of their Merchant Announcements Page and create a new coupon campaign is an easy way to help invest the merchant in the platform and results in longer term relationships with the merchant. Your commission income is calculated and paid for the life of the contract, so the longer a merchant participates, the more income you earn.
These videos are accessed directly in the merchant dashboard via the Help dropdown link in the upper right hand corner.
If you are doing an in-person sale, it’s likely you’ll be leaving your new merchant with a flash drive containing the Merchant Graphics Library and Point of Sale collateral. Merchants also receive a free iBeacon when they sign up and you may be giving the merchant their beacon at the time of sale. Online orders require shipping the iBeacon, which takes a couple of days, but the rest of the features are immediately active, including Location Notifications based on geo-fencing.
We suggest that you familiarize yourself with the video series and as always, we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have about the videos or the process.
